I was looking for some Texas BBQ near Houston Intercontinental and came across SouthernQ. The location was perfect for my needs and this no frills BBQ joint served up some delicious meats at a fair price. I had brisket and ribs and both were excellent. For sides the Mac and cheese shouldn't be skipped and when we get down to dessert, the banana pudding was the most delicious I've ever had. Thanks SouthernQ, I'll come back anytime I'm in town.

If I could give 10 Stars I would. This place was wonderful good parking fast service and super friendly people. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Houston. All sides were cooked in turkey meat which is a plus for me. I ordered the turkey mac&cheese and green beans. Husband ordered Beef tips Mac&Cheese & Greens. The wait time wasn’t long at all we walked in ordered and immediately able to sit down. The customer service was a big hit as well. Food was amazing highly recommend.

Forget what all the magazines say! SouthernQ is simply the best BBQ I have ever had! This place is exactly what a BBQ place should be. No white table cloths, no valet service, no fancy dinnerware. Just a shack with excellent, friendly service and the most awesome smells greeting you at the door! I absolutely love the brisket with the mac and cheese and greens!
